I have heard your call.
And now I answer.
You wondered if you truly
understood
the smoke signals;
are they sent in
cherakee,
or Iroquis.
But you know in each
the meaning is the same,
and no Mary of the valley,
will tell you any different,
(even if they are jealous)
because they are enamoured
in the romance that is
cast from flame in me
to flame in you.
